Cableizer is based on international and national standards.
The International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) is the most important source of technical standards for electrical engineering. Cableizer is mainly based on the IEC 60287 Series.
Other standards were consulted.
Some European Standards (EN) and Harmonized Documents (HD) provide recommendations for cable design.
Cableizer used the standardized values for wire diameters and conductor resistances for AWG sizes from several American standards.
Other standards were consulted.
Cableizer consults CIGRE and Jicable
The User Guides from CIGRE are a good source for better understanding of electrotechnical topics and sometimes provide additional methods not published in the IEC standards.
Electra provides information on the results or the progress of the technical activities of CIGRE, on the life of the Association and on the events organised.
Both CIGRE and Jicable provide valuable tutorials, webinars, and brochures and we regularly attend and participate at the sessions.
Participation
Cableizer uses additional methods from technical publications and books.
We have published several technical publications.
We have integrated findings and methods from following papers (list is not exhaustive).
