The Log4j zero-day vulnerability - first reported on Friday, 10th of December 2021 - is turning out to be a cybersecurity nightmare that likely impacts a wide range of products from Apple’s iCloud to Twitter to Microsoft’ Minecraft and a number of other enterprise products.

A zero-day is a computer-software vulnerability either unknown to those who should be interested in its mitigation or known and a patch has not been developed. Until the vulnerability is mitigated, hackers can exploit it to adversely affect programs, data, additional computers or a network.

Cableizer is not using Log4J and we don't have a dormant installation of Apache log4j 2 on our server.

Safety is key for us. We run our stable linux server on Digitalocean hardware and use the services from Cloudflare. DigitalOcean provides us the perfect set of tools to operate our SaaS business safe, stable and profitable. There's no doubt about it, implementing Cloudflare was the perfect way to speed up our website and make it more secure.
