Updated methods for cyclic loading calculations

Posted on April 12, 2019

The following updates and improvements have been recently implemented for cyclic loading calculations: The load factor was limited to values of above 0.5, the influence of mutual heating from other cable systems has been modified, and a new method to consider cyclic loading from Heinhold has been added.

Solar Radiation Calculator

Posted on June 9, 2018

The solar radiation calculator is a tool that estimates the intensity of solar radiation for a given day and a given place depending on its location and altitude.

Embodied energy and carbon

Posted on June 8, 2018

In order to reduce the carbon footprint it is important that we account for the energy that is embodied in the materials that we use. With Cableizer you can calculate the embodied energy and carbon of any cable.

Credit Card Payment, Currencies and Taxes

Posted on May 30, 2018

We have introduced the possibility to pay with credit card. All major credit cards are accepted.

Heat of Combustion

Posted on March 22, 2018

The gross heat of combustion value - also known as energy value or calorific value - is used to quantify the energy content of a cable in case of a fire. Cableizer calculates the value automatically for each cable.

Cable pulling calculation tool

Posted on February 28, 2018

With the help of Cableizer, you can prevent problems by calculating the maximum allowable pulling tension for any installation. You can easily model the cable route with sections, slopes, bends and cable pushers including a fantastic 2D and 3D preview.

Two phase concentric cables

Posted on January 21, 2018

A concentric cable has a conductor around the core for a return path. DC cables may be of concentric type as is the case in an integrated return conductor cable, where the return conductor is installed around the core conductor. Such cables are not directly covered by IEC 60287 but Cableizer implemented a method from CIGRE.
