Highest temperature of conductor over a load variation period

In case of cyclic loading this is the maximum temperature reached at the peak of the cycle. We consider this not to be the maximum permissible steady-state conductor temperature but the temperature of the conductor as a result of the steady-state calculation which may be lower.
