These updates are not yet available when the solver version is pre 2020-09-08.

Previously, credit card payments with Stripe were made through a pop-up window on our subscription page. Now, credit card payments are still made with Stripe, but you are redirect to a Stripe Checkout page as shown below. Please notice that the payment receiver is Braavos GmbH. After a successful payment (or if you decide to cancel your payment), you are redirected back to the Cableizer website. Once we have received a payment confirmation from Stripe, your subscription will be automatically released, which is normally happening within one minute from payment.

Stripe checkout interface

By updating our credit card payments to Stripe Checkout, you get the following benefits:

  • Support for 14 languages (example above: Swedish) and local payment methods depending on your location
  • Powerful fraud protection and extra authentication with dynamic 3D Secure
  • Fully compliant with PCI DSS ( Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards) and new regulatory requirements like SCA (Strong Customer Authentication) for European payments conforming with PSD2 regulations

Available currencies

The following currencies are now available for payments:

EUREuro
CHFSwiss franc
GBPPound sterling
USDUS dollar
AUDAustralian dollar
NZDNew Zealand dollar
SEKSwedish crown
NOKNorwegian crown
DKKDanish crown
For invoice payments in currencies other than EUR or CHF, we add a small 2% surcharge on the rates to cover our additional bank fees. This surcharge is clearly indicated and included in our prices that we display after switching to the invoice payment option. You can avoid this surcharge by making your payment in EUR or, preferably, in CHF, alternatively by paying with a credit card. For more details, please refer to our pricing page.

New billing information

In addition, it is now also possible to provide a contact person and the email address of your accounting department when providing a separate billing address (see below). You can add this information in your user profile or directly when placing an order. When you provide a separate billing address with a valid email address, the invoice/order confirmation will be directly sent to your accounting contact (you do also get a personal copy of the message).

New user profile options

Please do let us know if you have any questions regarding credit card payments or if we can improve Cableizer in order to facilitate your order handling.
